Isamitsu was founded by two craftsmen who both trained under the highly respected Fujiwara. Recently, they decided to start on their own and built a workshop in their backyard. To make room for this, a tree had to be cut down. The wood from this tree is now used in the White #1 series. We are proud to have had these makers in our store from day one.

Isamitsu produces high-quality knives without unnecessary embellishments. The focus is on true performance-driven workhorses rather than highly finished showpieces. This philosophy gives the knives their rustic and rugged appearance.
