Makoto Tadokoro is a renowned knife sharpener from Tosa, Japan. He started his career at the age of 15 following the famous Sakai sharpener Morihiro-san. Tadokoro-san is now in his early forties and has 25 years of experience under his belt. Tadokoro knives are forged by Shiraki Hamono, then sharpened and finished by Tadokoro-san in Tosa. They are absolutely superior when it comes to their sharpness and finish.
