Thanks to the strong connection we have with our knifemaker Sakai Takayuki, they also shared their knowledge with us about sharpening stones. My personal contact, Ogawa san, who I now know for mor then 10 years already, worked at naniwa, before he cjoined Sakai Takayuki. Actually now I realise, Ogawa san just informed me that his son will Join the team now as well. Anyway, Ogawa san shared his knowledge with us and adviced us in the world of naniwa stones. Of course we tested them and shared the same conclusion: high quality stones with, each excellent with their own high sharpening or polishing ability.
